History and the Future

TQ was established in 2006, with an objective to develop the digital game industry in Asia. TQ-Global working with NTU developed a generation of console games for Xbox and PS3 in Singapore and China. Later, in 2008 the companies had diversified into other fields such as digital cinema, on-line games, digital signage, distribution, education and training. To better foster the development of digital entertainment industry in Asia, in 2010 TQ-Global teamed up with Guangdong Animation City to establish a joint venture named “Asia Digital Entertainment Technology Park (DETPark)” located at Congchua. China.

TQ-Global main businesses are in content creation (TQ-Motor-gaming platform) and content distribution (ACDN). These two companies have their own subsidiaries that support and compliment the main operation of the TQ-Global group of companies. Both of our operation had received funding and support from MDA, IDM and WDA in Singapore.

To substance our growth and leadership in the market place, TQ-Global invested heavily into Research and Development on both academic and application level. From these efforts TQ-Global funded and established IDGT (Institute of Digital Game Technology, now changed to Digital Entertainment Technology Center,) and DFTLab (Digital Film Technology Lab).

TQ-Global believes in our growth and our future is rested on the people that we train and nurture today. To achieve this objective TQ-Global had funded Master Scholarship Program in NTU in Singapore, started an industrial training program with support from WDA and MDA in Singapore, and provided DETC professional training course on Video data management for the digital entertainment industry in Asia. In China, TQ-Global had jointed force with Shenzhen University to offer a Bachelor Degree in Digital Media and Game Technology.

Being a global company, TQ-Global motto is “Setting a Trend and Making a Difference”, through the business that we are in we want to deliver a positive message to our users, our co-production partners and the people that we serve and train. To set a trend TQ-Global invests in technology and services that our users and customers will follows and adapt to it. To make a difference, we always go out of our way to help and start project that is essential to the growth of our industry but not necessarily bring immediate financial benefit to the company.
